UMKC’s Consortium for Aging in Community is a response to the challenges presented by an aging community, nation and world. The University of Missouri-Kansas City has an important role to play in addressing these challenges: as a source of cutting-edge knowledge, an inspiring forum for innovation and a strong community partner.

Consortium membership cuts across schools and departments, allowing clinical, professional, academic and fine-art scholars and researchers to communicate and innovate together in the interest of older adults. The Consortium also actively engages with a wide variety of community partners, working together to respond to the needs of our aging world.
